Join us on April 26th for a very special Chef’s Tasting Experience hosted by 4th-generation Italian winemaker Franco Massolino of award-winning Massolino wines and Skopelos’s Executive Chef Gus Silivos.

The Massolino/Skopelos 5 Course Wine & Dinner Tasting experience will take place at Skopelos at New World at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 26th.

Established in 1896 by Giovanni Massolino, Italy’s Massolino winery has been dedicated to the production of the finest wines from the Langhe area of Piedmont. In the 1990s, Giovanni’s grandson, Franco, joined the winery to begin overseeing production. We are honored to have Franco join Chef Silivos as the formidable pair host a 5-course evening of Massolino wines paired with specialty cuisine.

The cost for the evening is $85 pp (+ tax and gratuity).

This is a limited seating engagement; Reservations are required. Please call (850) 432-6565.

ABOUT MASSOLINO:

Featured numerous times amongst Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year, Italy’s Massolino winery produces about 120,000 bottles each year, including Chardonnay, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Moscato d’Asti, and Barolo. The winemaking style is classically ‘traditional,’ as evidenced by the use of cement fermentation tanks and large Slavonian oak casks for ageing, however more modern techniques and technologies are also employed resulting in incredibly clean, elegant wines, perfectly respecting the characteristics of the indigenous grape varieties and the territory. Over the years, the name Massolino has become synonymous with robust, concentrated and well-structured Barolo, celebrated around the world. (via VinConnect)
