Join us on Thursday, April 26th at 6:30pm for “The Joy of Wine Dinner”, featuring a five-course menu inspired by the history of Napa Valley’s award-winning Rombauer Vineyards. The evening will be hosted by Rombauer Vineyard’s Jeff Papa and the Skopelos Culinary Team.
Rich in culinary history, the Rombauer family transcends wine as direct descendants of Irma Rombauer, author of the legendary cookbook, theĀ Joy of Cooking. This great food & wine legacy will highlight the night as guests sip on 5 handpicked Rombauer selections while dining of 5 courses of inspired culinary expertise. Utilizing exceptional ingredients, the Chefs of Skopelos will pair selected recipes from the Joy of Cooking to the wines with a fun, personal, and current-day touch on each specialized dish.
Rombauer’s Jeff Papa will co-host the evening as he explains the wine selections and provides an inside look at the winemaking process, while also answering questions and participating with guests. The Chefs of Skopelos will each discuss their dishes and inspirations as they present each course. Experience the true “joy of wine” philosophy, from the last bite of food to the last drop of wine.
