Join us in welcoming Executive Chef, Gus Silivos!

Effective immediately, Gus Silivos is the new Executive Chef and Director of Operations. He and his team will manage all operations in the banquet and event facility and 15 room hotel. In addition, Skopelos Restaurant will reopen in the Atrium at New World Landing in 2016.

Skopelos, founded in 1959 by the Silivos family, operated out of their Scenic Highway location until 2009. Since then they have offered catering services and limited items from the Skopelos menu through their other local establishments, Scenic 90 Café and Nancy’s Catering and Events. Scenic 90 Café and Nancy’s Catering & Events will continue under the direction of Gus Silivos and his son, Paul. “I am excited about the partnership with New World Landing,” said Silivos. “Take the top-notch facilities and services that they are already providing and combine what we can offer by reopening  Skopelos as part of that — it’s a win-win for the Pensacola area.”
